We appreciate that you probably weren’t even thinking of indoor mini golf if you were planning a party, however, That Funky Venue offers a great combination of activities to make for a fantastic night out like no other. Our glow in the dark mini golf course will ensure that you and your friends have an amazing time whether it’s for a party, hen or stag do, corporate outing, date, or just a get together. The neon mini golf course is designed to be fun yet challenging so is ideal for experienced younger and adult mini golfers along with novices. Crazy mini golf is available to anyone over the age of three until 6.30pm on Fridays and Saturdays and we keep our prices highly competitive.

When you come and play our glow in the dark mini golf course, you will have twelve crazy golf holes to show off your skills and each of the neon golf holes offers an exciting and different theme which has been designed with the sole purpose to keep you entertained. You’ll never have a dull moment at That Funky Venue. Even our golf balls and golf clubs glow in the dark.

You don’t even have to stick to just one of our services. Why not grab a cocktail, play a round of neon crazy golf, get another cocktail, head to the arcade, choose another selection off the cocktail menu, try your hand at bowling and then head back to bar to finish your night off. The bar is fully licensed and offers high quality sound and lighting to ensure The Funky Venue has a brilliant party atmosphere along with late opening hours. We love hosting parties for our guests, whatever their party preferences, and helping our guests make memories.
It’s like ten pin bowling in how the pins are laid out and, overall, how the game is played. However, as the pins are lighter, it’s actually harder, especially if you’re a seasoned ten pin bowler, to knock them over. Seasoned bowlers have a tendency to be stuck in their ways or have a certain way of bowling which serves them well in a Ten Pin Bowling alley but is unlikely to do them any favours when Duckpin Bowling. When Duckpin Bowling, the ball needs to be thrown a certain way which is different to Ten Pin Bowling.
There’s no need to book for our extensive arcade. The Funky Arcade is open from 3pm every day so you can come down whenever is convenient for you and your friends/ opponents and even enjoy a yummy cocktail or two (or even more) while you play. You can also prebook for our neon golf or brand-new Duckpin Bowling for while you’re with us. A fun day just got even more fun. We have a variety of packages to suit all agendas and budgets.
Why American, and not English, Pool? I hear you ask. The short answer is that it’s basically the same game. Our American cousins, like most things in life, do things bigger and, you know what they say, bigger is always better.
